Do you feel as if you are an asset to your team? How so?

Project 30 gets to take advantage of my vast sales background and ability to build relationships. I love challenging them to achieve more than they believed they could. Sometimes growth is a tough thing but when you get to the finish line it makes it all worthwhile. I also enjoy learning from each of them. We have 5 uniquely different personalities, backgrounds and it is never boring.

What attracted you to the position?

The opportunity to try something that hasn’t been tried before. I also love the challenge of helping build agents and get them to a goal they never thought they could achieve. All of Project 30 agents have individual goals but the larger goal is getting there as a team. We have morning huddles to share successes, challenges, and motivate each other. We are not a team because we work together. We are a team because we respect, trust and care for each other.

Name one way your supervisor helps you succeed in your role.

Joshua was instrumental in developing the concept of Project 30.   His belief in each member of the team and his leadership style will only help us succeed.

What’s your work-life balance like at FreightCenter?

When you spend more time at work than you do at home it is important to love what you do.The real bonus is loving who you work with. We are a giant mixed bag of nuts and it is wonderful. I love the environment and energy at FreightCenter. I am proud to be a part of the growth and development that is taking place in the company.

What’s something unique about you that most people wouldn’t know?

At the age of 24, I started a Medical Staffing Agency with 3 employees. In a span of 5 years, the company grew to 240 employees. I attribute a lot of the success to my employees. They believed in me and were dedicated to journey we were on together. Ultimately sold to a National Chain, Nursing Enterprises.
